Electronic Giving

Don’t like to use cash or checks anymore?  We have now made it possible for you to give offerings and donations to Trinity electronically, thanks to a partnership with PushPay.  Through their service, you can give your offering via computer or smart-phone, using a credit card, debit card, or direct withdrawal from a bank account.  You can set up a one-time gift or a recurring weekly or monthly offering.  Donations can be designated for our General Fund, Building Fund, or Missions, and you will still receive your regular year-end statements for tax purposes.  To get started, text TRINITYREDBUD to 77977.  PushPay will text back right away to walk you through the set-up process, which takes only a few minutes.  Thank you for your continued support of Trinity. You can also use the online giving tab at the top of the screen.

175  Year Celebration

On Sunday, July 9, Trinity celebrated its 175th anniversary with a special guest speaker.  Red. Dr. Larry Rast, president of Concordia Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN preached at the morning service.

A potluck was held at school where Rev. Rast presented tghe history of the early German Lutherans who came to America and in the part of the country.

The power-poit depicting the history of Trinity was also shown during the dinner.  It is availaable to download for anyone interested of who was unable to attent the celebration.

New Banners

In honor of the 175th anniversary of Trinity Lutheran Church, new banners have been made, starting in January these new banners will beautify the church.  The one with the picture of the church was given by Vernon and Jane Lucht in honor of their 60th wedding anniversary and in honor of the church anniversary.  The anniversary themed banner that contains all the colors of the church year was donated by the Sow and Grow LWML and made by Denise Heller.

For the confimation reunion and in honor of the 175th anniversary of Trinity, a presentation of over 50 pictures on the history of the church was complied.  It was decided to show the power point at the church picnic.  It will also be made available to anyone who would like to have a copy of the  flash drive.  Sign-up will be at the picnic.

A gift was received for the cemetery fund in honor of the 15th anniversary in memory of William and Emma Wendt who are buried on Trinity Cemetery.
